Our program draws influence from many different proven curriculum styles and philosophies to support the needs of young children- creating a balanced approach that encourages learning, independence, creativity, and growth.
The Creative Curriculum
A balanced approach that supports developmental milestones while still encouraging open-ended play. Learning is guided through activities built around themes, helping children grow socially, emotionally, and academically while building a strong foundation for school readiness.
The Montessori Approach
Encourages independence and confidence by giving children the freedom to choose activities, learn at their own pace, and build real life skills through hands on experiences.
The Reggio Emilia Approach
Encourages creativity and self-expression by giving children the freedom to explore their interests through play, projects, and hands-on learning. Art, imagination, and collaboration are at the heart of this approach.
By combining the best parts of these three, our program supports each child’s growth socially, emotionally, and academically—creating a strong foundation for confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Daily Learning Experiences
Children learn best through a balance of guided activities and independent exploration. Throughout the day, Kaitlyn and our caregivers lead small group learning experiences designed to introduce early concepts, build skills, and support development. These experiences include but are not limited to -
Circle Time:
Helps children follow a routine and work on listening skills while building vocabulary through songs, stories, discussions and group participation based on weekly/monthly themes and seasons.
Music and Movement:
Supports language development, coordination, emotional expression, and confidence through songs, rhythm, and participation of familiar songs, nursery rhymes and finger plays.
Art Activities:
Using a variety of open-ended materials helps children explore their creativity and self-expression, and grow their confidence all while having fun.
Sensory Activities:
Textures helps children self regulate while also supporting fine motor skills and develops early math and science concepts.
Dramatic Play:
These activities support social skills, creativity, and emotional growth through imagination, role-playing, and peer interaction.
Blocks & Building:
Supports problem solving and teamwork through trial and error and cooperation amongst peers while learning how objects can be maneuvered.
Puzzles and Manipulatives:
Supports concentration, patience, and independent thinking as children begin to recognize patterns, match shapes, sort objects and strengthen their fine motor development.
Outdoor Play:
Supports gross motor development and the overall well being of the children by building their strength and coordination while encouraging their turn taking and decision making. It gives the opportunity for children to release their energy to later return to learning ready to focus.
